Transforming Urban Spaces with Pumptracks: Our Latest Projects
Since our last update in April, we have been diligently planning and constructing pumptracks, skate parks, and trails across several countries, including Austria, Italy, France, Slovenia, and Croatia. This comprehensive update highlights our recent achievements and ongoing projects, showcasing our commitment to enhancing urban infrastructure and promoting active lifestyles.
Recent Achievements and Future Plans in Austria
In Upper Austria, we have made significant strides in completing several key projects. In Königswiesen, we designed and built a pumptrack specifically as a race venue for the Austrian Pumptrack Series. This project involved meticulous planning to ensure all environmental constraints were met. Our collaboration with the local bike club was crucial during the construction phase, and their active participation greatly contributed to the project’s success. The opening of this pumptrack coincided with a race event for the Austrian Pumptrack Series, attracting a considerable number of competitors from across Austria and even from abroad, highlighting the track’s appeal and functionality.
In Wartberg an der Krems, we implemented a smaller pumptrack within a new activity park that includes several playgrounds. This setting is particularly attractive for younger populations, promoting an active lifestyle and providing a new recreational facility for the community. The integration of the pumptrack into this vibrant park underscores our commitment to creating inclusive and engaging public spaces.
In Scharnstein, we once again joined forces with the local bike club to design a larger pumptrack that features a separate jump line intended for more experienced riders. This addition is set to become a vital part of the club’s training infrastructure, significantly enhancing the skills of its members and benefiting the wider community. The collaborative effort in Scharnstein exemplifies how local partnerships can lead to the development of specialized and highly functional sports facilities.
In Burgenland, we completed a significant pumptrack project in Stegersbach. This project adds to our growing list of successful installations, furthering our mission to spread the appeal and benefits of pumptrack riding. Meanwhile, in Vienna, we have built our second pumptrack, following the positive reception of our first project. Additionally, we constructed a pumptrack in the nearby city of Pillichsdorf, expanding our influence in the region.
In Altmünster, we have embarked on a socially responsible project in partnership with the SOS Kinderdorf organization. This initiative involves building a pumptrack as part of a broader project aimed at supporting less privileged children. This project not only provides a new recreational facility but also underscores our commitment to social responsibility and community development.
Looking ahead, we are preparing to start construction on new pumptracks in Straden and Hörbranz in Tyrol. These upcoming projects reflect our ongoing efforts to enhance recreational infrastructure across Austria. Additionally, we are actively building trails in various ski resorts, including Serfaus, Maria Alm, Galtür, and Turracher Höhe, demonstrating our versatility and commitment to promoting outdoor activities year-round.
Investing in Recreation: Italian Cities Lead the Way
In Italy, we have successfully completed a pumptrack and skate park project in Gorizia. These new facilities were implemented as part of a larger urban renewal initiative in a previously degraded area. The addition of these sports venues provides an attractive new space for biking and urban sports enthusiasts, revitalizing the area and offering residents exciting new recreational options. In Modena, our team has commenced the construction of a pumptrack with a separate jump line. This project is situated next to a newly built concrete skate park, further enhancing the city’s recreational offerings and catering to a diverse range of sports enthusiasts.

Milestone Project: First Pumptrack in France
In France, we have made our first foray into the country by building a pumptrack near Disneyland Paris. Located at a camping ground, this pumptrack offers an exciting activity for a diverse range of camp guests. This project marks a significant milestone in our expansion efforts and showcases our ability to create appealing recreational facilities in new markets.
New Attraction for Biking Enthusiasts in Hungary
In Hungary, we completed our first pumptrack of the season in Kőszeg. This location is near the Austrian city of Rechnitz, where we previously built another pumptrack. The proximity of these projects reflects our commitment to fostering cross-border collaboration and enhancing recreational infrastructure in the region. The new pumptrack in Kőszeg is set to become a popular attraction, promoting an active lifestyle and providing a new venue for biking enthusiasts.
Diverse Projects Across Slovenia
In Slovenia, we have completed the construction of a pumptrack in Železniki. This project presented unique challenges due to the limited space available, as it was built on a former school playground. To maximize the area, we fully integrated the pumptrack into the ground, demonstrating our innovative approach to design and construction. Additionally, we have commenced work on a new pumptrack in Divača, with several other projects planned to follow soon. Our efforts in Slovenia also include rebuilding a large dirt jump spot and working on a hiking track at Celje Castle, showcasing our diverse capabilities and commitment to enhancing recreational opportunities.
